I have neglected this site and hope to put more effort into this as I know journaling has been so important in my life. God is great and this is a tool He has given me to help me focus on him. This has been a day when things did not go the exact way I wanted it to. But it is good for me to remember that all is well as God is on his throne. There will be days like this but as long as my hope is in the Lord--it is well.
The radio show for tomorrow is a replay of last week because I had problems finishing it. There were too many distractions such as computer malfunction and indecision on whether or not to shorten interviews done. All in all, I opted to finish it later and play it next week and hopefully do a better job.
It will be about Mrs. Barbara Moore's experience of being part of the Freedom Flight. It was an incredible experience to share the chance of seeing the WWII Memorial in Washington, DC with WWII veterans. We owe so much to these heroes who knew the true meaning of freedom and that it is not free--as so many of their friends died before their eyes. Hope Americans today will do their part to keep this nation the land of the free as those brave men did their part and gave their all.
Also a portion of the show will be on abortion and an interview with Don Simmons author of The Unborn. Don's encounter with the ugly side of abortion has sparked a passion in him to try to do all he can to help in the fight against the atrocities--50 million so far--that most Americans don't realize. It is a crime against humanity of such an incredible magnitude and horror. The enemy has convinced many in the church that this truth must not be shown in graphic details-little realizing the potential for great change that can be brought about by letting the youth take a hold of the truth. It amazes me at how we study the word--that the truth will set us free--yet the church stifles the truth for fear, It parallels the enemy stifling the truth also yet they do it so blatantly and publicly--while the church does it in hushed tones. Hopefully the church will awaken to the truth for change begins with us...
